Produced by FIN Atlantic International Film Festival (FIN AIFF), the beloved FIN Outdoor
summer movie series returns for the first time since 2019, and proudly presents the “Summer of
Sarah Polley”, premiering July, 8th. This summer celebrates Canadian icon Sarah Polley; author,
activist, acclaimed actor and one of the most important and influential Canadian directors of the
last 20 years. Forging her own path, she’s been in our hearts for decades and now it’s time to
revisit some highlights from her storied career in film. Join FIN Outdoor at the spectacular
Halifax Public Gardens for one-of-a-kind and exclusive nighttime access to watch a movie under
the stars this July!
Though FIN Outdoor is a free event, we require our guests to reserve tickets in advance to ensure
their spot in the gardens, as capacity is limited. Tickets can be reserved at
https://finoutdoor2022.eventive.org/welcome. There will be NO rain dates this year; in the
circumstance the event is cancelled due to weather, updates will be posted on FIN’s social media
pages, as well as an email will go out to ticket holders. For any updates regarding FIN Outdoor
and any future events hosted by FIN Atlantic International Film Festival, please follow us on

programming, please visit https://www.finfestival.ca/summerofsarahpolley.
Feed Nova Scotia will be onsite at every screening collecting monetary donations. Concessions
will be available at the Uncommon Grounds canteen, and a limited selection of treats from The
Tare Shop will be available to purchase. Spring Garden Area Business Association has
generously gifted four $100 gift cards to give away at each event, but you’ll have to come to a
screening to enter the contest! We can’t wait to see you at the Public Gardens this July!
