SailGP is a marquee event on global sports and entertainment calendars and will be in Halifax as part of Season 4 over the weekend of 1-2 June, 2024.

The weekend of racing will take place in the centre of the iconic Halifax Harbour, between Georges Island and the Macdonald Bridge. The SailGP Race Stadium will be located on the Halifax Waterfront and the Team Base Tours are located at King’s Wharf in Dartmouth.

The Canada SailGP Team, led by Phil Robertson, has three Nova Scotian residents onboard (Billy Gooderham, Tim Hornsby, Jareese Finch), as well as Antonia and Georgia Lewin-Lafrance (Season 3 athletes who have qualified for the Olympics) and a strong local fan base who will come out to support the team on home waters.

Tickets are sold out, but spectators can watch the action from vantage points along the Halifax and Dartmouth shorelines. PLUS, many other exciting events will be happening to celebrate this momentous weekend in Downtown Halifax.
